There was no other information.\n</p><div id='\"newsner-e60a0b4d9ee1f0b8f7e1604393f49de2\"' class='\"newsner-e60a0b4d9ee1f0b8f7e1604393f49de2' newsner-bluebillywig_instream>\n<p>Lunita was lying face down on the sidewalk when she was found; her hind legs still attached to a dilapidated wheelchair.\n</p><div id='\"newsner-24df366dec9ce3ced739fc775b71ffcc\"' class='\"newsner-24df366dec9ce3ced739fc775b71ffcc' newsner-amp_article_inside_content>\n<div id='\"newsner-1281783843\"' class='\"newsner-article_inside_content\"'>\n<p>Luckily, one\u00a0of the dog-grooming employees saw Lunita and called the rescue organization\u00a0<a href="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/www.facebook.com%5C/fundacion.luba.salta%5C/%5C%22">LUBA Salta.\n<p>Soon, two volunteers rushed over to pick up Lunita.\n</p><p>They brought the little dog to a shelter and after that,\u00a0Lunita was placed in a\u00a0<a href="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/www.theanimalclub.net%5C/dogs%5C/family-gives-pregnant-dog-safe-home-shell-able-puppies%5C/%5C%22">foster home\u00a0while her information was posted online in the hopes of finding an adopter for her.\n<figure class='\"wp-block-image' alignnone size-full wp-image-4807><img loading='\"lazy\"' decoding='\"async\"' class='\"wp-image-4807' lazyautosizes lazyloaded src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/cdn-djur.newsner.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/sites%5C/3%5C/2019%5C/05%5C/28085557%5C/shelter.jpg%5C%22" sizes='\"auto,' srcset='\"https:\/\/cdn-djur.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/05\/28085557\/shelter.jpg' https: alt='\"\"' width='\"840\"' height='\"630\"' data-src='\"https:\/\/cdn-djur.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/05\/28085557\/shelter.jpg\"' data-srcset='\"https:\/\/cdn-djur.newsner.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/3\/2019\/05\/28085557\/shelter.jpg' data-sizes='\"auto\"' data-eio-rwidth='\"840\"' data-eio-rheight='\"630\"'><figcaption class='\"wp-element-caption\"'>Facebook \/ Lunita\u2019s Wish\n<p>But nothing happened \u2013 until\u00a0a family from the United States showed\u00a0their interest!\n</p><div id='\"newsner-825155031d7372deb6cc8e1e76c7c02c\"' class='\"newsner-825155031d7372deb6cc8e1e76c7c02c' newsner-amp_article_inside_content>\n<div id='\"newsner-280709245\"' class='\"newsner-article_inside_content\"'>\n<p>A fundraiser was launched to pay for Lunita\u2019s transfer to the United States.\n</p><p>Unfortunately, things did not go well for Lunita in her new adoptive home. So her family decided that it was time to let her go.\n</p><p>Lunita passed away surrounded by her loved ones.\n</p><div id='\"newsner-fbcae8c36451dfe64eff114f9bd4e7d8\"' class='\"newsner-fbcae8c36451dfe64eff114f9bd4e7d8' newsner-amp_article_inside_content>\n<div id='\"newsner-1408401692\"' class='\"newsner-article_inside_content\"'>\n<p>\u201cI will never forget her and how much she meant to me,\u201d Lunita\u2019s mom wrote on Facebook.\n</p><p>\u201cShe changed my life forever.
